Our mission
Jesus.army exists to bring Christians together under Jesus: to pray, to study Scripture, to sharpen one another and to serve. We approach truth together and measure every teaching, including our own, against the Bible.
Under Jesus
Jesus is Lord of this community. We are not founding a new religion or denomination; we are believers from many churches who want to walk together faithfully.
Scripture as the measure
Where interpretations conflict, we examine them against Scripture rather than defer to personal opinion or unquestioned allegiance. Our own conclusions remain open to the same test.
Iron sharpens iron
Honest, patient conversation across traditions makes each of us sharper. Disagreement handled with humility is part of how we grow.
An advisory council, not a governing body
Our vision includes a cross-denominational advisory council offering counsel and perspective. Its role is advisory: it would not govern churches, members or consciences, or claim divine authority. Council members have not yet been announced.
What Jesus.army is not
Not a military or armed organization. Not a new church or religion. Not affiliated with any other group that has used a similar name. Not a replacement for your local congregation.
